RAF confirms loss of two jets in Moray Firth

Two people have been picked up by helicopter but two more remain missing after an incident involving two jets in the Moray Firth, the RAF has confirmed.

The Tornado GR4s, which each had a pilot and navigator on board, were from RAF Lossiemouth, on the Moray coast.

Station Commander Group Captain Ian Gale said that details of the incident remained unclear and that search operations were continuing.
