London 2012: The UK's favourite moments

The Olympic Games have had a positive effect on the UK according to a survey for the BBC, but there are doubts how long the feel-good factor will last.

Of those questioned, 83% thought the Games had a positive effect on the UK, while 80% thought the sporting spectacle had made people more proud to be British.

However, while 35% thought the effect of the Games would be long-term, 54% thought it would be short-lived.

BBC News asked people across the country about their favourite moments from London 2012.
