Nine hospitalised after viaduct coach crash near Bath

Nine people have been taken to hospital after the coach they were travelling in fell 30ft (10m) from a viaduct near Bath.

The accident happened at the junction of Brassknocker Hill and the A36, where the coach apparently left an embankment.

Inspector Nick Hunt from Avon and Somerset Police said it was too early to give details of all injuries but confirmed all were in hospital and advised motorists to avoid the area.
