London Metropolitan overseas student on visa decision

A London Metropolitan student described being "in panic and distress and totally shocked" at the news the university was losing its licence to accept overseas students.

Emmanuel Egbu, from Nigeria, was about to go into his final year studying forensic science, and spoke to Martha Kearney on The World at One from a demonstration outside Downing Street on the choices he now faced.

The government is to send in a task force to help students who face finding a new university or leaving the country.
