G4S should be on 'high risk register'

A report by MPs on the failure of G4S to provide enough security staff for the Olympics has said the firm should give up its £57 million management fee, and be placed on a high risk register.

The Home Affairs Select Committee cleared the government of any blame for the affair, saying it was given false assurances by G4S.

The committee chairman, Keith Vaz, says poor performance by any contractor should be considered if they ask for further government jobs.
