Megan Stammers' parents in plea for her safe return

British and French police are working together to find a missing schoolgirl who was last seen on Friday.

Megan Stammers, 15, from Eastbourne, is believed to have crossed the English Channel with maths teacher Jeremy Forrest, 30.

Police say the pair had booked return tickets for Sunday but failed to use them.

On Monday afternoon, Megan's parents made an emotional plea for her to contact the family. Police have urged Mr Forrest to 'do the right thing' and get in touch.
