Stepfather appeals on Crimewatch for Megan to come home

The stepfather of missing teenager Megan Stammers told the BBC's Crimewatch programme her disappearance has "devastated" their entire family.

Jeremy Forrest, 30, and the schoolgirl, 15, have not been seen since they travelled to France on 20 September.

Martin Stammers appealed on Thursday night for Megan to make contact.

He said: "It's awful. Not obviously just for me and Danielle (but) the family as a whole. It's just devastating, we're in pieces."

Simon Clemison reports.
