Scene of search for missing April

Police say they are treating the disappearance of a five-year-old girl in Powys as a suspected abduction.

April Jones was playing with friends near her home in Machynlleth but was seen getting into a light coloured van at about 19:30 BST on Monday.

Around 200 people helped in a search of streets, farmland and woodland through the night and into Tuesday morning. Rhun ap Iorwerth is at the scene.

Officers have urged anyone with any information relating to April's disappearance to call Dyfed Powys Police on 0300 2000 333.
