April: Police urge public to search immediate environment

Police searching for the missing five-year-old, April Jones, have made another appeal for information on suspect Mark Bridger's movements in and around Machynlleth, where the girl was last seen.

Dyfed-Powys Police appealed to the public to look in their immediate environment - and search their gardens and outbuildings to help locate April.

Superintendent Ian John described the search as a large, complex operation and said that under police coordination volunteers could be used at the right time.
