Broadmoor staff say Jimmy Savile did not visit wards alone

The former branch chairman of the Prison Officers Association at Broadmoor has told BBC Radio 5 liveBreakfast that it is impossible that Jimmy Savile could have got onto a hospital ward alone.

Frank Mone was speaking after a former patient at Broadmoor hospital said he was assaulted by the presenter in the 1970s.

The Department of Health says it will investigate Jimmy Savile's appointment to lead a task force at the hospital in 1988.
