Savile inquiry is now a criminal investigation

The inquiry into the late BBC presenter Sir Jimmy Savile has now widened into a criminal investigation into allegations of child abuse against other individuals still living.

Scotland Yard says it has so far identified 200 potential victims.

Today the children's charity, the NSPCC, said it was possible that "Jimmy Savile was one of the most prolific sex offenders the charity had ever come across."

The BBC's Nick Higham reports.
