Celebrities 'fearful' of being linked to Savile scandal

PR consultant Max Clifford has told the BBC that dozens of big name stars from the 1960s and 1970s have contacted him because they are worried they will be accused of being implicated in the sexual abuse scandal involving Jimmy Savile.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast Mr Clifford said celebrities had been seeking assurances that their names were not being mentioned in connection with the Savile inquiry.
