Leveson Report: Police-press contact 'must be transparent'
Metropolitan Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe has said future communications between the police and the press must be "of limited duration" and totally transparent.
Following the publication of the Leveson Report, Mr Hogan-Howe said he was pleased Lord Justice Leveson was "impressed by the integrity of the Metropolitan Police".
But he said there was much to study in the report, and there was still a need to see "justice for the victims of phone hacking."
