Autumn Statement: George Osborne scraps 3p fuel duty rise
The chancellor has scrapped the planned 3p increase in fuel duty in his Autumn Statement.
George Osborne told MPs that Britain's economy is taking longer than expected to recover and warned of further spending cuts to get the country's finances under control.
Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls branded the statement "unfair, incompetent and completely out of touch".
