Floods disrupt railway services over Christmas

Floods have been causing further disruption in parts of Scotland, south-west England and south Wales.

Railway engineers along with fire and rescue crews have been working on the railway line at Cowley Bridge in Devon, where Network Rail have placed plastic dams on the line to try to stem the flow of water.

Steve Hawkins of Network Rail says it could be three to five days before they can start working on the track.
