Floods: Christmas Day misery for many

More than 170 flood warnings are still in place around the UK and many parts of the UK remain on alert as standing water continues to affect those already flooded.

The Environment Agency says the greatest risk of flooding is in Dorset where groundwater levels are still rising.

Meanwhile forecasters say rain will continue but in the form of showers rather than a persistent downpour.
