Chester braces itself for more snow

There is a Met Office "amber alert" in force for much of central and southern England. A rare "red alert" has been issued for South Wales where up to a foot of snow is expected.

Many train companies are operating on a revised timetable to try to minimise disruption. Airports in Southampton, Bristol and Cardiff are shut.
