Footballer 'kicked ball not boy'

Former Chelsea player Pat Nevin has said that the ball boy involved in an altercation with Chelsea's Eden Hazard "should not have been doing what he was doing".

Police say Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard will not face criminal action after a ball boy was kicked during Swansea City's Capital One Cup semi-final at the Liberty Stadium.

Officers spoke to the 17-year-old, who did not suffer any injuries, after the game and no complaint was made.

The Belgian player later apologised after being sent off.

However, former Chelsea player Pat Nevin told Today programme sports presenter Garry Richardson that the ball boy involved in an altercation "should not have been doing what he was doing".
