Ladbrokes gunman death: Police appeal for information

Devon and Cornwall Police have appealed for the public's help following an attempted armed robbery at Ladbrokes bookmakers in Plymouth on Friday night, which left the gunman dead.

Speaking to the BBC, Chief Inspector Ian Drummond-Smith said they had spoken to a number of witnesses overnight but still wanted to hear from "anyone else with information or anyone else who may have seen what happened."

And he said "we have recovered a firearm of sorts", but it was too early to see if it was genuine.
