Stranded drivers on snowy M6 'in good spirits'

It was a "bit of a party atmosphere" when heavy snowfall leftmotorists stranded for hours in their cars on the M6 in Lancashire, according to Conservative MP David Morris.

He said that despite the freak weather conditions, people were in good spirits, with some having snowball fights and others building snowmen.

The M56 and M58 were also affected, but are now operating again.
