Catholic Church in Scotland 'knew of 20 child sex abuse allegations'
The BBC has seen evidence that bishops in the Scottish Catholic Church knew of 20 allegations of child sex abuse by priests in the 1980s and 90s.
One man who says he was abused told the BBC he was still waiting to hear what action the church was taking.
An academic who compiled a report for the Scottish Catholic Church says priests were out of control, and his recommendations were ignored.
The church insists it has since put in place effective measures to deal with claims of abuse.
