Labour: Announcements on migrants 'confused and unclear'

Prime Minister David Cameron has said Europeans will have to prove they are "genuinely seeking employment" to claim UK jobless benefits for more than six months.

In his speech in Ipswich, Mr Cameron said under the last government immigration was too high and out of control.

Shadow home secretary, Yvette Cooper, argued what the prime minister had announced was already in the system.
