Blackout continues in western Scotland after snowfall

Three thousand homes and businesses in western Scotland are still without power five days after electricity supplies were lost.

Transport routes in many parts of the UK remain impassable because of heavy snow, and farmers are struggling to rescue livestock stranded by the blizzard conditions.

James Cooke visited a village on the Isle of Arran which has been without power for five days.
