Eyewitness: Muslims are scared

A local Muslim resident who witnessed the Woolwich attack on a member of the armed forces has said that it is not an Islamic act, and that Muslim members of the local community are now scared.

A local Muslim resident who witnessed the Woolwich attack on a member of the armed forces has said that it was not a Muslim act.

Lucky Awale, who has lived in the UK for 18 years, described what she had witnessed, and said: "The crime he did, he put in the name of Muslims and this is not right. It's not Muslim. We don't accept it."

"We are scared as a community, as Muslims", she added.
