Park home owners get new legal protection

People who live in or own static caravans, or "park homes", have new legal protection from unscrupulous site owners.

The new law prevents site owners, who rent out plots on their land, from getting involved in the buying and selling process and from inflicting unexpected charges.

It is hoped the change will give protection from bullying and intimidation to the roughly 85,000 people who live in park homes.

Simon Clemison reports.
