18-year-old crash victim was 'trying to avoid fine'
A car crash that killed two people last November may have been a result of the driver rushing home to avoid a fine, a coroner has said.
18-year-old Oliver Pain was believed to be trying to beat an 11pm curfew laid down by his insurance company.
His car was fitted with a black box tracker that recorded his speed, location and when he was driving. He had it fitted to qualify for lower premiums.
The coroner said the accident highlights possible problems these devices could cause.
Will Glennon reports.
