Labour report: UK infrastructure 'behind the rest'

The UK urgently needs to improve the way it carries out major long-term building projects, it has been claimed.

In a report commissioned by Labour, Sir John Armitt, the Chairman of the Olympic Delivery Authority, said the country's infrastructure had "fallen behind the rest of the world" and was increasingly struggling to cope.
