RAC says the Sheppey crash could have been even worse

Police say 130 vehicles were involved in a crash on the A249 in Sheppey in Kent.

Around 70 people have been hurt and eight have suffered serious injuries.

The BBC spoke to David Bizley from the RAC who advises motorists "stay away" from the area as the clean-up operation on the bridge will take several hours.
