For many years London Fashion Week was something of an also-ran when compared with the likes of Milan and New York, but now, as Newsnight's Kirsty Wark reports, it is hot once more.

For many years London Fashion Week was seen as something of an also-ran when compared with the likes of Milan and New York.

But now, thanks to a cocktail of hot designers, must-see catwalk shows, celebrity fans and a renewed interest in traditional British craftsmanship it is hot once again, as BBC Newsnight's Kirsty Wark has been finding out.
