Gas leak: 'Casualties treated at retail park'

Emergency services have treated nineteen casualties after a suspected gas leak at a retail park near Southampton.

The BBC's James Ingham said most of the casualties from the shopping centre were being treated at the scene in Hedge End.

The Sainsbury's and Marks and Spencer store have been evacuated and fire-fighters are investigating the cause of the incident.

The alarm was raised when customers started to feel ill while at the registers of the Sainsbury's store.
