Lotto price hike pays for more prizes, says Camelot

The National Lottery operator, Camelot, says increasing ticket prices will "re-energise the game".

Andy Duncan, Camelot's managing director says the doubling of the cost of a Lotto ticket is part of a package of changes that includes bigger prizes.

He said the organisation is responding to what the players want.
