Ed Davey: Energy deals not just for 'internet savvy'
Competition in the energy market is "beginning to show results", according to Energy Secretary Ed Davey.
In his annual statement to the House of Commons today, Mr Davey will announce an annual review of competition and prices among the 'big six' energy companies.
Speaking to the Today Programme's Sarah Montague, he said he wants to "make sure the market is working for the fuel-poor" and not just the "internet-savvy" generation.
Mr Davey said the government is working with community groups to help people to find the cheapest deal and switch provider.
First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Wednesday 30 October 2013.
