Medmerry's £28m flood prevention scheme set for completion

A scheme which has seen a stretch of coast returned to the sea to reduce the risk of future flooding, will be completed on Monday.

The £28m "managed realignment" at Medmerry in West Sussex has seen the building of 7km (four miles) of new sea walls up to 2km inland.
