Meeting man who burgled us 'had the most amazing effect'
A £30m fund to bring together offenders and the victims of crime in "restorative justice" has been ring-fenced by the government.
A Ministry of Justice study suggests face-to-face meetings between offenders and their victims reduces re-offending rates, with most victims saying they gained something from the experience.
Margaret Foxley spoke to the BBC about the experience of meeting the man who burgled her home, taking a laptop containing family photos, months before her daughter died in a car accident.
