Hacking trial: Andy Coulson Clive Goodman phone call

The jury in the phone hacking trial has heard a recording of a telephone conversation between the former News of the World's royal editor Clive Goodman and his then-editor, Andy Coulson.

The discussion took place in 2006 when Mr Goodman was preparing to go to court after he had been charged with phone hacking under the original investigation.

He starts by telling his editor that he is "terrified" - before they go on to discuss aspects of the case. Clive Goodman subsequently pleaded guilty and was jailed in 2007, alongside private investigator Glenn Mulcaire.
