Jayden Parkinson murder: Police ask public to 'refrain from searching'

Police in Oxfordshire have asked the public not to conduct their own searches for Jayden Parkinson, a teenager who is believed to have been murdered.

Superintendent Christian Bunt, from Thames Valley Police, said he was concerned that if volunteers started looking for her they could jeopardise the police investigation.

The 17-year old from Oxford was last seen as she left Didcot Parkway railway station on Tuesday, 3 December.

A 22-year-old man from Reading and a youth of 17, from Oxfordshire, remain in custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
