The papers: Tuesday's front pages

Broadcaster David Davies and freelance journalist Samira Shackle cast their eyes over Tuesday's front pages for the BBC News Channel.

They began by looking at the i, which reports Prime Minister David Cameron's declaration that British troops will be able to declare "mission accomplished" when they return from Afghanistan next year.

They then discussed the forthcoming report on airport capacity and the Daily Telegraph's suggestion that London Mayor Boris Johnson's favoured plan for an island airport in the Thames is "sunk", despite the Financial Times believing it remains a possibility.
