Among the people moved out of their homes to escape the floods of the last few days is 59-year-old Patrick Pope.

Mr Pope, who says that he could not afford insurance for his property, is now in temporary accommodation in Dorset.

He went back to look at the damage to his home today and has been talking about his experience of being in the eye of the storm.
