Flood defences: How prepared is UK for storms?

The Environment Agency has confirmed that it's cutting 1,500 jobs and its head has warned that cuts will affect the organisation's ability to deal with floods.

But today the government says it is spending more than £2.3 billion on flood defences and efficiency savings are essential.

David Shukman reports.
