The papers: Tuesday's front pages
Political Commentator Jo Phillips and James Rampton, features writer for the Independent, reviewed Tuesday's papers for the BBC News Channel.
They began with reports about the "crisis" within the Liberal Democrats after the suspension of former election adviser Lord Rennard. The peer refused demands to apologise over allegations of sexual harassment, which he denies. A party inquiry found the complaints were "broadly credible" but could not be proven.
The pair then looked at a report in the Times, which suggests that the UK has the fastest-growing economy and that the International Monetary Fund has increased its growth forecast for the country.
They also examined a Financial Times report about the expected stock market flotation of British retail chains, amid growing confidence in the sector.
