Dog smuggling into UK on increase

There has been a dramatic rise in the number of dogs being illegally brought into the UK.

It is thought that many of them have travelled on fake passports.

The BBC has learned that the numbers stopped from entering have more than tripled since the government relaxed the rules about the movement of pets in 2012, causing increasing concern about the spread of rabies.
