UK storms: Pledge of extra £30m for flood repairs

Forecasters are predicting more heavy rain into the weekend, as the southwest of England continues to suffer flooding.

The Somerset Levels still have two severe flood warnings - meaning danger to life - in place.

The government has promised a further £30m for flood repairs and maintenance, but for many that assistance may come too late.
