Ed Miliband: Floods 'wakeup call on climate change'

The Labour leader Ed Miliband has warned that the havoc caused by recent storms and floods shows Britain is sleepwalking into a climate change crisis.

He said said that this was "a wake up call" to tackle climate change to "ensure the security of our people".

It would be a "generational struggle", he added.
