Mother's anger as son racks up £4,000 FIFA 14 bill
A mother whose teenage son racked up a £4,000 bill on FIFA 14 has claimed there should be tighter controls on "in-game" purchases.
On one occasion her 13-year-old, who had been buying "Player Packs", spent £1,000 in 24 hours.
The boy's mother, known only as Sue, told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "There should be more controls in place to ensure the cardholder or adult is aware of what's happening."
The company behind FIFA 14, EA Sports, were contacted but declined to comment.
