The papers: Monday's front pages

Mihir Bose from the London Evening Standard and financial consultant Ros Altmann reviewed Monday's newspapers for the BBC News Channel.

The discussion began with a look at the latest coverage of the political crisis in Ukraine, with the Sun's "simple" front page treatment of the story attracting attention.

A report in the Daily Telegraph that a government adviser has said working-class children should "act posh" to get ahead in life was also examined.

Other talking points included a Daily Mail story about NHS whistleblowers, a Daily Express front page report on workers' pension fears, and a suggestion in the Times that councils are likely to introduce inflation-busting parking, waste and pest control charges as they struggle to balance their books.
