Peer 'concern' over crash helicopter

A Northern Ireland peer killed in an air accident in Norfolk along with three others, had raised concerns about the helicopter that crashed, the BBC learns.

It has emerged that a Conservative peer killed in a helicopter crash in Norfolk on Thursday night had started legal proceedings against the manufacturer of the aircraft.

Lord Ballyedmond was one of four people who died when the helicopter came down in deep fog.

He was suing Augusta Westland, claiming his helicopter had technical defects.

Sian Lloyd reports.
