The papers: Tuesday's front pages

Guardian diary editor Hugh Muir and Pippa Crerar, City Hall editor at London's Evening Standard, joined the BBC News Channel to review the front pages.

They began by discussing the Daily Telegraph's front-page report, which quotes the UK's First Sea Lord suggesting that Scottish independence would damage the Royal Navy.

They then moved on to the Scotsman, which reports the latest situation in Ukraine, and the Metro which carries suggestions that children as young as four are being left "like zombies" because they are spending 10 hours a day at school while parents work.
