Court to probe UK Iraq abuse claims

The International Criminal Court in the Hague is to begin a preliminary examination of claims that British forces systematically abused Iraqi detainees between 2003 and 2008.

Attorney General Dominic Grieve said the government "completely rejects" the claim that UK forces were responsible for systematic abuse.
