Chelsea Flower Show: BBC goes behind the scenes

Garden designers are making their final preparations for the opening of the Chelsea Flower Show, with some choosing to mark the centenary of World War One.

The central London event is one of the biggest dates on the gardening calendar, with more than 500 exhibitors.

BBC Weather's Carol Kirkwood takes a closer look at the gardens, some of which have been designed by familiar faces.

The event runs 20 to 24 May 2014
