'Diseased meat could end up in pies' due to rule change
Hygiene inspectors have told the BBC that more diseased meat could end up in sausages and pies because of changes to EU rules governing safety checks in slaughterhouses.
The new regulations are supported by Britain's Food Standards Agency, but opposed by many of its 1,100 frontline inspectors.
